WEN-JEN HUANG
Wen-Jen Huang is a graduate student of Tisch. Dancing has always been her passion, and it's not until 10 years ago that she started formal trainings. Wen-Jen went to Chuna-hwa School of Arts, and earned a BFA degree at Tainan Women's College of Art and Technology. She learnt dance styles in ballet, modern dance, folk dance and Chinese traditional dance, and choreographed the school's annual dance performance every year. Wen-Jen gained choreography experience at Jazz Ballet Kaohsiung. In 2005, Wen-Jen came to New York and was inspired by the modern dance scene in the city. She joined DNA dance studio to gain experience in modern dance. She also joined Jacobs/Campbell Dance and Bliss Company and performed with Nia Love and Alexandra. Wen-Jen is proud to get a chance to choreograph her solo piece "Seed".
